Volkswagen Golf R400 concept likely to enter production soon

When concepts are released, carmakers want to see the public’s reaction to their new technologies or design approach. When an impressive prototype is shown, few questions appear immediately. Will it enter mass production? Will it retain most of the concept’s features? Well, in the case of the VW Golf R 400 concept, both answers are “almost” yes.

We say almost as the company shown real intentions to produce this concept but a clear confirmation is still pending. As a reminder, the Volkswagen Golf R 400 concept is a more powerful and aggressive version of the Golf VII R, a prototype seen in world premiere at Auto China.
