Kia GT Concept ready for Production Line

The Kia South Korean based automaker has secretly announced its intentions of building the extraordinary GT Concept car from the scratches, with the model to head to the market in the future.

The Kia GT Concept was first previewed back during the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, and now the model is highlighted again, within a leaked report from Edmunds that got in touch with some seniors at Kia.

The Kia GT Concept will thus be aimed to compete against the Audi A7, the model reportedly coming with a 3.3-liter V6 turbocharged under the hood.

In Europe, GT Concept is also said to come with a diesel engine, talking here about a previously rumored 3.8-liter V6 unit, developing 334 horsepower.

However, the Kia GT Concept might be coming instead with a 2.8-liter GDI V6 unit, which would produce a higher 395 horsepower and 534 Nm of torque.
